150 years ago today, on July 4, 1862, a young mathematician by the name of Charles Dodgson, better-known as Lewis Carroll, took a boat trip with a friend’s three little sisters, including the real-life Alice Liddell, who inspired a story he told on the boat – the story that later become Alice in Wonderland.
